Chilli Paneer

SOLARA product used : Air Fryer

Chilli paneer presents a fusion of health benefits, combining the protein-rich goodness of paneer with the nutritious array of vegetables and the potential advantages of chilli peppers. Paneer serves as an excellent source of protein and calcium, vital for muscle strength and bone health, while the inclusion of vegetables like bell peppers and onions adds essential vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber. Chilli peppers, containing capsaicin, offer potential anti-inflammatory properties and may aid in pain relief.

Ingredients:

  • 200g paneer
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2-3 green chilies
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1-inch ginger
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves

Preheat the Air Fryer

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

Prepare the Ingredients

  • Cut 200g of paneer into cubes and slice 1 onion, 1 bell pepper (capsicum), and 2-3 green chilies.

Marinate the Paneer

  • In a bowl, toss the paneer cubes with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and let them marinate for a few minutes.

Air Fry the Paneer

  • Place the marinated paneer cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Air fry the paneer at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time, until the paneer is golden brown and crispy.

Prepare the Sauce

  • While the paneer is cooking, heat a pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil.
  • Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and 1-inch of minced ginger to the pan and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.

Add Vegetables and Sauce

  • Add the sliced onion, bell pepper, and green chilies to the pan. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly tender.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup, and 1 tablespoon of chili sauce to the pan. Mix well.

Combine Paneer and Sauce

  • Once the paneer cubes are crispy and golden brown, transfer them to the pan with the vegetables and sauce.
  • Toss everything together until the paneer cubes are well coated with the sauce.

Serve

  • Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and serve hot as an appetizer or with steamed rice or noodles.
