  • 1 pound of firm white fish fillets
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1-2 eggs
  • Cooking spray or oil

Prepare the Fish

  • Cut 1 pound of firm white fish fillets (such as cod, haddock, or pollock) into evenly sized strips, resembling fish sticks.

Season the Fish

  • In a shallow bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs (seasoned or plain), 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste.

Coat the Fish

  • Dip each fish strip into beaten egg (1-2 eggs), then coat it evenly with the breadcrumb mixture. Press gently to adhere the breadcrumbs to the fish.

Preheat the Air Fryer

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

Arrange the Fish in the Air Fryer Basket

  • Place the coated fish sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between each piece for air circulation.

Air Fry the Fish Sticks

  • Air fry the fish sticks at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside and cooked through on the inside.

  • Once cooked, remove the fish sticks from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as tartar sauce or ketchup, and enjoy!
