SOLARA product used : Air Fryer Oven

Homemade air-fried French fries offer potential health benefits when prepared with minimal oil. Made from nutrient-rich potatoes, they provide vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that support overall health. With lower fat content compared to deep-fried versions, they can aid in weight management and reduce the risk of obesity-related health issues. While they may not be a significant source of fiber, pairing them with nutritious foods enhances their benefits.

  • 2 large potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste

Preheat the Air Fryer Oven:

  • Preheat your air fryer oven to 380°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

Prepare the Potatoes:

  • Wash and peel 2 large potatoes. Cut them into thin strips or wedges, about 1/4 inch thick.

Coat with Oil:

  • Place the potato strips in a bowl and toss them with 1 tablespoon of olive oil until they are evenly coated.

Season the Potatoes:

  • Season the potatoes with salt and any other desired seasonings, such as black pepper, paprika, or garlic powder. Toss to coat evenly.

Arrange in the Air Fryer Oven:

  • Arrange the seasoned potato strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded.

Cook the French Fries:

  • Cook the French fries in the air fryer oven at 380°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking.

  • Once the fries are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer oven and serve immediately.

  • Enjoy your homemade French fries with your favorite dipping sauce!
