Strawberry Cheesecake

Strawberry Cheesecake

Strawberry cheesecake, while undoubtedly a decadent treat, can offer certain health benefits depending on its ingredients. Strawberries, a key component, are rich in antioxidants, including vitamin C and anthocyanins, which have anti-inflammatory properties and contribute to overall immune health. The cream cheese in cheesecake provides a source of protein and calcium, essential for bone health and muscle function. However, it's important to be mindful of portion sizes and added sugars, as excessive consumption of high-calorie and sugary desserts can lead to weight gain and other health issues. Enjoying strawberry cheesecake in moderation as part of a well-balanced diet allows one to savor its delightful flavors while still prioritizing nutrient-dense foods for overall well-being.

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

Prepare the Crust:

  • In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press this mixture into the bottom of individual silicone cupcake liners or ramekins.

  • Add a dollop of strawberry jam or chopped strawberries on top.
Air Fry:
  • Place the cheesecake cups in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 325°F (163°C) for about 15-18 minutes or until the cheesecake is set.
Cool and Garnish:
  • Allow the cheesecakes to cool completely before removing them from the liners.
  • Optionally, garnish with fresh strawberries.
