Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender
- 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup
- Juice of 2-3 lemons
- Ice cubes
- Sparkling water or soda water
- Lavender sprigs and lemon slices for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Blueberry Lavender Syrup:
- In a small saucepan, combine the fresh blueberries, dried lavender, honey or agave syrup, and 1/2 cup of water.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes, until the blueberries burst and the mixture thickens slightly.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the syrup to cool. Once cooled, strain out the solids and set the syrup aside.
Prepare the Lemonade:
- In your elixir tumbler, squeeze the juice of 2-3 lemons to get about 1/2 cup of lemon juice.
- Add the cooled blueberry lavender syrup to the tumbler with the lemon juice.
Mix and Add Ice:
- Stir the lemon juice and blueberry lavender syrup until well combined.
- Fill the tumbler with ice cubes, leaving some space at the top.
Top with Sparkling Water:
- Pour sparkling water or soda water over the ice and syrup mixture until the tumbler is almost full.
Stir Gently:
- Use a stirring spoon to gently mix the ingredients in the tumbler.
Garnish and Serve:
- Garnish the Blueberry Lavender Lemonade Mocktail with a sprig of lavender and a slice of lemon.
