Masala Puri Chaat, a popular Indian street food, can offer a combination of flavors and potential health benefits. The dish typically includes ingredients like puris (deep-fried bread), boiled chickpeas, potatoes, chopped onions, tomatoes, various spices, chutneys, and yogurt. Chickpeas provide a plant-based source of protein and dietary fiber, supporting muscle health and digestion. 
  • Puri or papdi 
  • 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  • 1 cup boiled and diced potatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup sweet chutney
  • 1/4 cup mint chutney
  • Chaat masala to taste
  • Roasted cumin powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Sev for garnish 


 Prepare the Components:

  • If not using store-bought puris, you can air fry small circles of rolled-out puri dough until they are crispy. You may also use store-bought papdi or puris.

 Assemble the Chaat:

  • Arrange the puris on a plate.
  • Place boiled chickpeas and diced potatoes on top of each puri.
  • Add chopped onions and tomatoes.

 Drizzle Chutneys:

  • Drizzle sweet chutney and mint chutney over the arranged ingredients.


  • Sprinkle chaat masala,  roasted cumin powder, and salt according to your taste preferences.


  • Garnish the chaat with chopped coriander leaves and, if desired, a generous sprinkle of sev for added crunch.

 Serve Immediately:

  • Serve the Air Fryer Masala Puri Chaat immediately to enjoy the freshness and crispiness of the puris.
